Guild creation
Is creating a guild anything like doing it in WoW?
do i need to get a petiton signed in order for it to be made? Is there a fee for creating or can i make one as soon as a log in? Is the guild creation place right in the starting town? If these questions have already been answered a million times, plz post me the thread, i cant find it, only guilds wanting members. ty |

Uhh... I dunno. I haven't played WoW. No petition needs to be signed There is a fee. There is a fee for creation, cape creation, and buying a Guild Hall You can create a guild by talking to the Guild Registrar. There is one right when you start the game. However, you won't be able to get a Guild Hall til you get to Lions Arch later in the game. |

Uhh... I haven't created one lately.
I'm not exactly sure. They keep changing it. Creating the guild and getting the cape isn't the expensive part. Getting the Guild Hall (which is very important if you plan on doing any Guild vs Guild battling) is the annoying part. You must give an NPC that you can access from Lions Arch something called a Celestial Sigil. You can win this by winning the Hall of Heroes (top tier of the Tombs and very very hard), or you can just buy it from a Sigil Vender in Lions Arch. Of course, if you buy it, you'll be paying out your nose. But it shouldn't be too hard if you get a few people together to donate to the cause and make some quick cash. |

Do you have to pay Real money to get a guild? Or just money in the game?

It costs 100 gold to start a guild. To get a guild hall, it costs 1000 gold. At last BWE, capes costs another 100 gold. It's all in game 'money'.

The prices in the last two BWE changed a bit, so the actual price is yet to be seen.
The March BWE Guild Creation was 100g Cape was 1000g April BWE Guild Creation: ? Dont know, already had created my guild. Cape: 100g. I would assume it would be safe to go with Loviatars prices and say that you need to save up some gold to get all the guild options. |

Actually in Pre-Searing there's a quest somewhere that pays you 100 gold... *edit* Here's the quest
Quest Name: Charr in the Catacombs Quest Giver: Prince Rurik Location Ascalon City Description: Head over to Ashford Abbey and speak with Brother Mhelno who then directs you to Necromancer Munne at the entrance to the Catacombs. Munne will direct you to talk with the necromancer Oberan the Reviled deeper in the catacomb. Oberan will give you a sharp Charr Tooth, give the tooth to Prince Rurik. Reward: 250 XP, 100 Gold |

do you need more than one person to start a guild, or can you just create one by yourself and then go out recruiting later?!

When I played April BWE, it was 100g to register, and this covered making a cape. To change the design, it was a further 100g.

I disbanded my old guild, because we decided to go with a different name. Seems creating a guild no longer takes gold. It's asking for these 2 slips of paper or something. Not sure what they are. It doesn't say or identify it. Anyone have any ideas?
